Back in 2001, I was doodling around, and I wondered what would be a message from my future self to my today person. this is what I received:

“Hi, this is your future self talking.
\nI\u2019m further down the path that you are walking.
\nIf the place is a mess then it\u2019s a mess tomorrow,
\nThe money you have is the money you borrow.
\nIt\u2019s a privilege not a right you know.
\nAnd if you realise half of that you\u2019re there.
\nBe kind to me and I\u2019ll treat you right,
\nBy not criticising you
\nAnd being proud of you.
\nThat a constant stream of self-esteem
\nPours down through time, you\u2019ve been redeemed
\nCos that\u2019s where I am
\nSome crucial involvement in constant evolvement
\nIs all you should do.
\nKeep peeling off skins,
\nOf feelings, of sins,
\nYou\u2019re redeemed, its ok,
\nWhat you do, what you say
\nAll the stuff\u2019s gone away, now.
\nAnd what is left of skin and bone,
\nIs open doors, you\u2019re left alone.
